SANIBOX

is a waste water purification system connected and integrated with the production cycle

with on-site and / or remote management and control.

Sanibox is a dedicated apparatus for laboratory wastewater treatment machines

Sanibox is a dedicated apparatus for laboratory wastewater treatment machines

Laboratory device dedicated to analyzers such as Beckman Coulter of the AU and Dxl series. SANIBOX is a wastewater purification system that is integrated into the production cycle with AU and Dxl instruments, which produces a single wastewater at the outlet, detectable at the discharge point of the SANIBOX system and sampled by means of a sampling valve. The effluent produced falls within the limits indicated in Tab. 3 to 5 part third of Legislative Decree 152/2006.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
Each machine has a painted steel body and is made up of 1 basic module, identical for all sizes but modular in the number of filter modules. The control module A and a filtering module B.

On the basis of the instrumental types connected and the quantities of waste produced, up to 6 filtering modules B are connected to a control module A.

The system can therefore be considered MODULABLE on the basis of specific needs.
In the machine there is an emulsion phase, a disinfection phase, a filtering phase and a finishing phase of the effluent, consisting of the passage through an ultraviolet lamp to reduce any residual battery charge.

SECURITY

All sizes are complete with double circuit, by-pass line and double containment tank under the base in an emergency to ensure maximum and total reliability in case of breakdown or damage due to improper use. Each system has these backup systems:
- Plumber
- Electronic
INSTALLATION

Extremely fast operation, thanks to flexible hoses with quick couplings It can be easily connected to the machines and local discharge point

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
( and remote, as option):

the monitoring and control system allows scheduled routine maintenance based on the best logistics and timing solution. Suitable spare parts for ordinary and extraordinary maintenance will be available in our warehouses.
ALARMS AND CONTROLS
the main alarms are also visible on the control module A screen. The operator is therefore able to monitor the instrumental status in real time.
All the electrical / electronic components will be assembled and acquired with CE certification by leading manufacturers. All controls and alarms are remotable.

Legislative Italian Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments identifies in Article 74, c 1, letter h) "industrial waste water":

"Any type of waste water discharged from buildings or plants in which commercial activities or production of goods are carried out, other than domestic waste water and run-off rainwater" This definition would seem to subject the waste water of the Laboratory to industrial wastewater analysis, which, therefore, should respect specific qualitative and quantitative limits.

Article 107 discharges into sewer networks c.1 of the same decree, establishes that the discharges of industrial waste water that deliver to sewer networks are subject to the technical standards, prescriptions and regulations and to the limit values ??adopted by the competent authority based on the characteristics of the system and in such a way that the protection of the receiving water body is ensured.

The Regions, in the exercise of their autonomy, in implementing the water protection plans, taking into account the maximum permissible loads, the best available techniques, define the emission limit values ??that the discharges concerned must not exceed.

Since reagents are used in the analysis process carried out in the Laboratory, it follows that concentrated discharges must certainly be treated as waste. As for the diluted discharges which are made up of waste liquids, deriving from the washing water used for the cuvettes, mixers, etc., it is necessary to check the level of concentration to evaluate their impact.

treatment cycle

The treatment cycle is guaranteed by a first collection section called mixing complete with pump and sterilizer.

A second section by means of suitable filters controlled on the hours of operation and / or pressure losses ensures the treatment of effluents from clinical chemistry analyzers for discharge into the sewer.

  • A third section resumes UV sterilization and PH correction and then unloading

The cycle is controlled by a suitable detection system which, by means of a microprocessor, signals any failures, automatically sets the second line calling the need to the service.

Times of use and volumes are monitored to intervene if they do not fall within the standard service times.
