Waste Manager is an accessory for the purification of wastewater from diagnostic instrumentation
Apparatus divided into several modules, with painted steel body and formed by: A master module (A) identical for the different machine sizes: module A controls and manages the treatment carried out in the filtering modules with additives and in the hydraulic cycle of the entire accessory. Multiple filter modules (B) are connected to module A based on the hydraulic requirements of the connected machines. The equipment includes a hydraulic sequence consisting of: Collection tank, recirculation pump, UV disinfection, preliminary filtering, filtering by means of carbon filters with additives in model B.

Technical features

Technical features

The Waste Manager equipment is complete with an "alarmed" tank to collect any dripping, double UV circuit, and automatic machine by-pass signaled system.

An intrinsic hydraulic backup and electronic backup system is installed, in case of failure and / or malfunction, the equipment automatically goes into by-pass, connecting the waste water to the collection system in use at the laboratory.

CONTROLS AND ALARMS

local and remote, the alarms are visible on the screen of module A, the user can monitor times, status and performance of the device, and intervene promptly in the event of an alarm (optical-acoustic). In addition to local management, remote management and the recorder of all alarms and reports are available. All controls and alarms are remotable.

INSTALLATION

Extremely fast operation with flexible connections for machines and drains

The Legislative Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments, identifies in Article 74, c 1, letter h) "industrial waste water": "Any type of waste water discharged from buildings or plants in which commercial activities or the production of goods are carried out, other than domestic waste water and run-off rainwater" This definition would seem to subject also the waste water of the Analysis Laboratory to industrial waste water, which, therefore, should respect specific qualitative and quantitative limits.

Article 107 discharges into sewage networks c.1 of the same decree establishes that the discharges of industrial wastewater that deliver to sewer networks are subject to the technical standards, prescriptions and regulations and to the limit values adopted by the competent authority. based on the characteristics of the system and so that the protection of the receiving water body is ensured. The Regions, in exercising their autonomy, in implementing the water protection plans, taking into account the maximum permissible loads, the best available techniques, define the emission limit values that the discharges concerned do not must overcome. Since reagents are used in the analysis process carried out in the Laboratory, it follows that concentrated discharges must certainly be treated as waste. As for the diluted discharges which are made up of waste liquids, deriving from the washing water used for the cuvettes, mixers, etc., it is necessary to check the level of concentration to evaluate their impact.

treatment cycle

The treatment cycle is guaranteed by a first collection section called mixing complete with pump and sterilizer.

A second section by means of suitable filters controlled on the hours of operation and / or pressure losses ensures the treatment of effluents from clinical chemistry analyzers for discharge into the sewer.

  • A third section resumes  sterilization and PH correction and then unloading.

The cycle is controlled by a suitable detection system which, by means of a microprocessor, signals any failures, automatically sets the second line calling the need to the service.
Times of use and volumes are monitored to intervene if they do not fall within the standard service times.
